Broadway Legend, Debbie Allen, in collaboration with Grammy award winner, James Ingram, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, and a long list of community theater groups across the nation, will remount Brothers of the Knight. The story recounts the adventures of the youthful Knight brothers who, for reasons known only to themselves, leave torn-up shoes by their bed every morning. Their father, a strict preacher, has forbidden them to dance; however, the boys sneak out every night to dance the night away in the “Big Bad Ballroom.” Until their housekeeper, Sunday, secretly follows them and solves the mystery of the torn up shoes.
